Terms of Service

By accessing, registering for, or using Laifido Store (available at laifidostore.com), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the platform.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Laifido Store. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts under Nigerian law to use this platform.

Laifido Store is a Nigerian affiliate marketing marketplace that connects Vendors (product sellers) with Affiliates (product promoters). Vendors list physical or digital products; affiliates generate unique tracking links to promote them and earn commissions on verified sales.

Laifido Store acts solely as a marketplace facilitator — we are not a party to transactions between vendors and their customers, nor are we responsible for the products or services listed on the platform.

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
• Vendor accounts require a one-time registration fee of ₦5,000, verified via Paystack.
• Affiliate accounts are free to create — no payment is required.
• Accounts may not be transferred or sold to third parties.

• You must provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, images, and stock levels.
• You are solely responsible for order fulfilment, shipping, and customer support for physical products.
• For digital products, you must ensure your delivery URL is valid and accessible at the time of purchase.
• You must maintain sufficient stock for products listed as available.
• You agree to pay affiliate commissions as configured on each product.
• You accept that Laifido Store deducts a 4% platform fee from every sale before crediting your payout balance.
• Each payout withdrawal incurs a ₦100 processing fee.
• Minimum payout amount is ₦5,000.
• You acknowledge that earnings from physical product sales are subject to a 7-day clearing period before becoming available for withdrawal, to allow for delivery confirmation and dispute resolution.

• You must promote products truthfully and not engage in misleading, false, or deceptive advertising.
• You may not use spam, bots, click farms, or any fraudulent methods to generate clicks or sales.
• You are responsible for ensuring your promotional content complies with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations.
• You may not earn commissions by purchasing through your own affiliate links (self-referral is prohibited).
• You earn a 20% referral commission on the ₦5,000 registration fee when you successfully refer a new vendor who pays.
• Each payout withdrawal incurs a ₦100 processing fee.
• Minimum payout amount is ₦5,000.

Commission rates for product sales are set individually by each vendor per product. Affiliates earn commissions only on verified, non-refunded sales that pass Paystack's payment verification.

Payout requests are subject to admin approval and are processed via bank transfer to the verified account details on file. Laifido Store reserves the right to hold payouts pending fraud investigation or account review.

Physical product holds: Vendor earnings from physical product sales are held for 7 days after order confirmation to allow for delivery verification and dispute resolution. Digital product earnings are available immediately. Laifido Store administrators may place additional holds on specific orders at their discretion.

Commissions on cancelled, refunded, or fraudulent orders will be reversed. Payouts already processed for fraudulent activity are subject to recovery.

All payments are processed via Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Laifido Store does not store card details on its servers.

Refund eligibility for product purchases is determined by the individual vendor's refund policy. Laifido Store is not liable for refund disputes between vendors and customers. Vendor registration fees (₦5,000) are non-refundable once an account has been activated.

All content on the Laifido Store platform — including but not limited to logos, UI design, source code, and documentation — is the intellectual property of Laifido Store and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright law.

By uploading product images, descriptions, or other content to the platform, you grant Laifido Store a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content for the purpose of operating the platform. You retain all ownership of your content.

• Fraudulent orders, fake click generation, or self-referral schemes.
• Selling counterfeit, illegal, prohibited, or harmful products.
• Attempting to manipulate click, conversion, or commission data.
• Sharing, selling, or transferring your account credentials to any third party.
• Using the platform for money laundering, financing terrorism, or any other illegal activity.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack platform infrastructure.
• Creating multiple accounts to evade suspensions or gain unfair advantages.

Laifido Store reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account — with or without prior notice — that violates these Terms of Service, engages in fraudulent activity, harms other users, or brings the platform into disrepute.

Suspended accounts forfeit any pending commission or payout amounts at Laifido Store's discretion. You may request account closure at any time from the Settings page; however, any pending obligations must be resolved first.

Laifido Store provides the platform on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Disputes between vendors and customers regarding product quality, delivery, or refunds.
• Losses arising from affiliate earnings fluctuations or missed commission opportunities.
• Technical outages, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
• Third-party payment processing delays or failures.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to Laifido Store in the three months preceding the claim.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or prominent platform notifications at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Laifido Store, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of the platform or any content you submit, upload, or transmit.
• Your violation of these Terms of Service or any applicable law.
• Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
• Any dispute between you and a customer, vendor, or affiliate arising from a transaction facilitated by the platform.

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms of Service or your use of the platform, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, either party may escalate to mediation under the rules of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria Branch).

If mediation fails, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Gombe, Gombe State, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.

Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

Laifido Store shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms where such failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labour, or materials, or failures of telecommunications networks, internet service providers, or third-party service providers.

In the event of a force majeure occurrence, we will use reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume performance as soon as practicable.

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed from these terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

You may not assign, transfer, or sublicense any of your rights or obligations under these Terms of Service without the prior written consent of Laifido Store. Laifido Store may freely assign or transfer these terms, in whole or in part, to any affiliate, successor, or third party in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganisation, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Laifido Store regarding your use of the platform. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings, whether written or oral.

No waiver of any provision of these terms shall be effective unless in writing and signed by the party against whom the waiver is sought to be enforced. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
